The food that is served in hospitals is a key element of patient care and experience. Over the past five years, hospitals have witnessed dramatic improvements in efforts to provide both patients and staff with freshly prepared, healthy and ethically sourced catering. However, the NHS has discovered that a large number of hospitals still did not meet Government food standards in 2018. With the NHS 10-year plan has committed to ambitious hospital food standards, how can hospitals continue to deliver heathy, sustainable catering?

Join us at this Westminster Briefing event to gain a deeper understanding of how to exceed hospital food standards in a time of financial constraint and budgetary pressure. This conference will utilise both current policy and inspiring case studies to provide you with a full toolkit for revitalising your Food & Drink Strategy.

The morning session will provide an update on hospital standards and policy, while identifying what successful Food & Drink Strategies are doing to meet the standards and improve their service. This session will be highly interactive and will provide you with practical guidance to take back and apply in your area.

The afternoon session will focus on sharing new updates with your peers and exploring where hospital food standards are heading in the near future.
